Petite Negri Cutting
Petite Negri is a fig with a notorious flavor and texture. The flavor profile is similar to Violet de Bourdeux types, but I think this is variety has a more mature berry/wine flavor. When picked at proper ripeness it is sweet and complex. The texture can be that of dry figs. The tree is dwarf with low growth but very productive. This particular attribute makes it grate for someone with limited space in the yard. This little tree produces so many figs over an extended period of time. The figs are also split resistant and don't mind cold spells. We love this variety, it is one of our favorites for how productive it is, its excellent flavor, and the fact that the tree is very compact.
